Privacy Policy
G Line Website
Last updated: 4 October 2026
Who We Are
This website is operated by 369 Consortium Pty Ltd (ACN 665 696 962) ("we", "us", "our") in connection with the G Line project.
As an organisation under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), we handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in that Act.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal information, see the contact details in section 10.
Information We Collect
This website has two separate ways of collecting your information, used for two different purposes:
- Newsletter sign-up: if you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address only.
- Contact form: if you submit an enquiry, we collect your name (required), email address (required), phone number (required), organisation name (optional), industry (optional), and what part of G Line you're interested in (optional).
We keep these two forms separate so that newsletter subscribers and people making a specific enquiry are managed as distinct groups, and so that newsletter subscription doesn't require you to provide more information than necessary. This reflects our obligation not to collect personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for our functions or activities.
We also automatically collect limited technical information through cookies and analytics when you browse this website, see section 5.
If you do not provide the required fields on the contact form, we may be unable to respond to your enquiry or contact you about it.
How We Use Your Information
Newsletter sign-up information is used solely to send you updates about the G Line project, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We provide a simple means by which you may request not to receive these communications.
Contact form information is used to respond to your enquiry, and may be used to follow up regarding the specific interest or area you've indicated.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We will not use or disclose your personal information for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was collected unless you have consented, you would reasonably expect that use, or the use or disclosure is otherwise required or authorised by law.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use professional third-party service providers to help us manage, process, and secure the information collected through this website. These service providers are required to handle your information securely and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
If any of our service providers are located outside Australia, we will take reasonable steps to ensure they do not breach the Australian Privacy Principles in relation to your information, unless an exception applies, for example, where you have consented after being informed that those protections will not apply in that instance.
Cookies and Analytics
This website uses cookies and Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the site. This information is generally anonymised and aggregated, and is used to improve the website's content and performance.
Google Analytics may transmit information to servers located outside Australia, including in the United States, and potentially other countries in which Google or its service providers operate. We disclose this because we are likely to disclose personal information collected through this website to overseas recipients.
You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect how the website functions.
Data Quality and Security
We take reasonable steps to ensure the personal information we hold is accurate, up to date, and complete. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure, including by requiring our service providers to apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures.
Data Retention
A specific data retention period has not yet been determined, and will depend on the project's lifespan and future needs.
Once we no longer need your personal information for any purpose for which it may be used or disclosed, and we are not required by law to retain it, we will take reasonable steps to destroy the information or ensure it is de-identified.
Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, and to request that it be corrected if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading.
If you would like to access, correct, or request deletion of your information, please contact us via the contact form on this website, or using the details in section 10.
If you have concerns about how we've handled your personal information, you may contact us in the first instance. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this website.
